Hey all,
We have good success with our EID and we are glad to help other communities
with the process.
Information is on our website at: www.DowntownBend.org
I also have many documents I'm glad to share with those that are interested
including a timeline for the ordinance, a step by step task list, FAQs and
much more. Just drop me a note.
Thanks,
Chuck Arnold

We are working on one in Medford as well. Chuck Arnold in Bend was really
helpful in sharing their experience. They now have only 3% objection and
will be going for their 3rd or 4th one in 2012.

We're in the same boat here in Sandy and we are interested in seeing what
the budgets for non-profit Main Street programs in Oregon look like and also
what the assessment framework for the EID. Please share any info with us as
well.
Thanks!

Good afternoon, all! I'm coordinator for The Dalles Main Street Program,
which is just in its beginning stages. The steering committee is hoping to
establish an EID in our downtown district, and directed me to try to obtain
any budgets of successfully established EIDs. I thought this would be a
great place to start. If any of you can get me some budgets (without too
much effort) from the first few years of your EIDs, it would be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you all!
