[OMS_MANAGERS] ??? re: funding from Target, Freddy's, etc.

Hi OMS Friends,

First, Happy Thanksgiving in a couple days!  :)

Sherwood has been exploring funding opportunities and wondering of those of you
who receive funds from corporations in your area could share some info with us.

I've heard a few of you mention receiving $5,000 from Target, $2,000 from
Freddy's, etc.  If you are a Main Street that receives funding from a
corporation in your area can you please share with me the process you went
through to get that started?

Was it a grant type application you filled out and submitted?  Are the funds
event sponsorship related?

Any information you can provide would be much appreciated.  We have quite a few
corporations that we would like to approach and would appreciate learning from
your experiences as we move forward.
