The Main Street Conference is FREE to those in the program. 
Of course there is travel, accommodations and meals, but you have to eat anyway right :)
Perhaps you can find a roommate through this list to share expenses. 
Sheri is probably on the road, but I am sure she will have some ideas for you too.
I hope to see you there, it really is a great confrence even though it is FREE!

FYI.  about 3 years ago Lakeview joined the Oregon Mainstreet Program at the "Exploring Mainstreet" entry level.  Unfortunately, we (I) havent't taken the time to pursue the benefits.  They came here and did a presentation, and it sounds like a worthwhile program.  I too have been thinking about getting a fresh start and possibly attending the Astoria Conference.
