There is a featured picture of a family watching a movie at the Newberg Drive-in in Newberg OR - TIME latest issue Aug 25/Sept 1 page 105. Maybe Honda would help some small town struggling move theaters. - have the same problem with updating technology.

When SHPO staff were out doing a historic survey of the 99W Drive-in in Newberg they heard how slim the profit margins are for drive-ins, and how they could often not afford to upgrade to digital, which would limit their markets further. Now Honda is sponsoring a nation-wide contest in which five winners will get digital projectors. Visit the website to vote and learn more about this campaign to save America's drive-ins.
