We had signs made for local merchants, t-shirts, sweatshirts, buttons and
bumper stickers. One of the local merchants had a "street fair" with free
bbq to promote and we advertised in our chamber newsletter the true cost of
leaving town to shop with gas prices, wear and tear on car, food out, etc...
