Hello all,
I know I mentioned at the Network meeting on Monday that Albany has no Art Galleries, but this morning I talked with a woman who has just rented a space on First Avenue that she is calling "Art World - Learning Center & Gallery." She plans to sell art on commission, plus hold art events on a monthly basis!

Any great ideas that I can pass along to her for events would be appreciated. Her hours are going to be 1pm - 8:30pm.

I'm so excited! I think this is great for Albany's Art scene. (I'm thinking of starting an Art stand. No other places to walk to... yet.)
