[OMS_MANAGERS] Large banks within your EID

Starbuck's and eight banks in our EID and no remonstrance. FedEx though
signed a lease in a city building and told the City that they would not sign
if they had to pay the EID fees. So the City signed them up and pays the EID
fee out of pocket.

We always sell the idea that you need an EID as an equitable way to keep the
downtown vibrant. A vibrant downtown is good for their business.

Thanks for all of the responses thus far, very helpful. How about Starbucks,
if you have one did they remonstrate?

In Klamath Falls, we have 4 large banks in our downtown, and we never heard
from any of them positively or negatively.

I am helping 8 property owners in downtown Hillsboro get an EID in place and
have a quick question for those of you that have EID's in place. Did the
large banks like US Bank and Bank of America remonstrate against the EID? We
have both banks within the boundary of the proposed EID and one of them
holds a significant number of properties (8). I encouraged one of the branch
managers to come to the open house about the EID but he never did (he
ultimately does not make the decision though).

Thanks in advance for your help with this question.

Best,

Karla
