Subject: Landscaping Ordinance
What I am curious about is whether or not any of our towns have ordinances covering landscaping. Our City Council in Bandon is exploring adding an ordinance that would allow the City to pursue properties that are neglected to the point of being totally overgrown. They are not looking for anything draconian, just a way of putting a property owner on notice when the property becomes totally unsightly. And some way to resolve it when the property owner fails to take any followup action.
Again, I am curious if there is anything out there and would appreciate any links that can be provided if so. Julie is coordinating the research (Julie at greaterbandon.org<mailto:Julie at greaterbandon.org>)
