We proactively have used golf cart service for those affected by the closures. Some years we have also had horse and Surrey available. The proactive approach has really changed ideas!

Wondering if anyone has encountered disabled and elderly complaining that their access (to homes, work, businesses) is limited by street closures due to events (perhaps citing the Federal ADA act).  If so, any words of wisdom or lessons learned?
