[OMS_MANAGERS] Business Oregon's Rural Entrepreneurship grant program - deadline December 18

The Rural Entrepreneurship Program seeks to expand the support network for rural entrepreneurs through development assistance, mentoring for entrepreneurs and access to early-stage capital investments. Business Oregon, the Oregon Growth Board and the Governor's Office are leading this initiative to stimulate and support the growth of entrepreneurs in rural parts of Oregon. The Rural Entrepreneurship Development program will provide grants to organizations that are currently implementing entrepreneur development activities so they can escalate their efforts.
How it Works: Business Oregon will provide grants to nonprofits and public agencies to expand Oregon's capacity for innovation, entrepreneurship and capital in rural communities. The maximum grant award to an organization is $150,000. Awards are anticipated to be in the range of $50,000 to $150,000.
How and When to Apply: Download the application packet<http://www.oregon4biz.com/Innovate-&-Create/RED-Grant/RED-GrantApp2015.docx>, which includes an application form, and submit it to Business Oregon according to the steps and instructions supplied in the packet. The submission deadline is Friday, December 18, 2015, 12:00 p.m.
