Hi Michael,
We have 3 businesses sharing the Burkholder Woods building. That's an
interesting use. Please see a recent snippet:
Currently, the building has an unusual use and is a haven for several of
our nonprofits. The multi-use facility homes a bookstore/antique and art
gallery (Kalapuya Books) on one side and the other side a bakery and café
(Backstage Bakery and Café) in the morning to early afternoon, then a pub
and music venue (Axe & Fiddle) in the evening. The existing nightlife in
Cottage Grove centers around this venue. These 3 businesses are each very
successful, together forming a versatile space encouraging creativity and
sense of community. The owners of this property are visionaries who have
motivated our community. Their use of shared space produced a comfortable
meeting spot for city officials, non–profit organizations and local
families alike.
Your contacts would be:
Axe & Fiddle, Bart or Alyssa @ 541-942-5942
Kalapuya Books, Hal or Betsy @ 541-942-6143
Back Stage Bakery, Alex or Nick @541-767-0233
We also have a very successful breakfast spot (#1 in Lane County).
Contact:
Buster's Main Street Café and Bottle Shoppe, Paul Tocco @ 541-942-8363
Thanks!!!
Shauna
