She brings a unique background to her new position. She is a former US Coast Guard Seaman and also was an analyst for the US Coast Guard, FEMA, and the Department of Defense in her position with Booz Allen Hamilton. She has a BS in Business/Sports Studies from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.
