We have some very similar discussions in Klamath Falls regarding the parking issue. I would love to be pointed to some studies with best practices for smaller communities regarding this.
I would be interested to hear how other communities have funded Comprehensive Downtown Strategic Planning? Ours is over 30 years old now and it is time for another one.
The subjects below are very relevant to us as well and I look forward to the discussion.
Thank you! Kendall

The idea is to help a community address an issue in their downtown. In 5-minutes or less, towns will present their issue to a panel of experts and then the experts will brainstorm solutions. Our awesome facilitator is Michele Reeves from Civilis Consulting – you might know her as a presenter at several of our previous conferences. We have some ideas submitted from a few communities already, but we still have room for a few more. You can respond over the listserv or email me directly at: sheri.stuart at oregon.gov <mailto:sheri.stuart at oregon.gov>
