Rural Opportunity Initiative (ROI)
Deadline Extension for Letters of Intent
This is a reminder that completed Letter of Intent forms are now due by noon on December 20, 2017. This is a change from the original deadline indicated on the form.

Another reminder, the purpose of a Letter of Intent is to reduce initial barriers to participation. The Letter of Intent is shorter and less complex than a response to a Request for Proposals, thereby reducing the time burden on potential applicants. It is acceptable to provide bulleted responses, and to give general estimates. This is especially true for those applying as “Concept.”
The Letter of Intent focuses more on alignment, whereas the full Request for Proposal will require more specific information about activities, outcomes, partner engagement, budget, and more.
