Please join me in welcoming Kevin Teater, the new executive director with the Beaverton Downtown Association. Kevin just started yesterday and has hit the ground running. Here’s a brief message of introduction from Kevin:

Hey! My name is Kevin and I am the Beaverton Downtown Association executive director. Before taking this position, I spent my life in North Carolina, where I worked with a nonprofit community planning organization leading long-range visioning processes in the Asheville area. I fell in love with downtown community development and the opportunity it gave me to connect with passionate property owners, residents, business owners, and other local stakeholders. I have a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Public Policy, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Outside of work, I am most at peace on the tennis courts or deep on a mountain trail.
