Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl
December 15th is our first ever Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl! It's a fundraiser that goes to keeping Downtown Bend beautiful! You can purchase your tickets at

Here's what you get with a ticket purchase:
1. Two free drink tokens from participating bars and breweries
2. Goody Bag
3. Entry into Ugliest Sweater Contest
You will pick up your tickets or purchase tickets at the  pre-registration party, which begins at 4 pm at Bend Brewing Company (https://www.bendbrewingco.com/) . The crawl begins at 5 pm and goes until 8 pm. At 8 o'clock the Ugliest Sweater Contest begins at Silver Moon Brewing (https://www.silvermoonbrewing.com/) . A big thank you to our community for showing up and supporting our local businesses'! This year we had over 300 passports turned in, which means we have even more people who were in Downtown and went into our businesses.

We had twenty prize baskets to give away at the end of the event. This would not have been made possible without our businesses' donating gift cards or items from their stores.
Visit Bend (https://www.visitbend.com/) is organizing the second annual Bend Women's March; the month-long celebration of all the ways women are shaping our community in Bend!

We would love for downtown Bend businesses to participate by organizing their First Friday (https://www.facebook.com/FirstFridayBend/) event on Friday, March 1, 2019 that focus on women in the arts & culture, business and outdoor industries.

Come have a coffee with the Downtown Bend Business Association! Last month we had "Beer With Us" and this month we're doing, "Have a Coffee With Us".

Mindy Aisling, Executive Director, and Michaela Beechem, Public Relations, will be having a coffee with YOU this month! We'll be there on Thursday, December 13th from 10a-12p.

Did you know that snow removal around each building is the responsibility of each property owner? Because many owners are not local, this responsibility can fall to the businesses. On corner properties, this includes both sides, even if there is not a door.

The Downtown Bend Business Association keeps an ADA accessible path throughout the EID on sidewalks, crosswalks and ADA parking spaces.  We typically start before 6am and hire temporary employees to shovel snow in a timely fashion in the interest of safer sidewalks for Downtown customers.

Between the building/business owner keeping the area directly in and around their buildings snow-free, the DBBA keeping the bulk of the sidewalk snow-free, and the City of Bend clearing the streets - we can keep Downtown accessible and looking it's best all Winter long!

Here at the DBBA, we have snow shovels that you are welcome to borrow.  Please call, text or email us if you'd like to use one.  We also have lots of ice melt, so if you come across a patch of ice, let us know where it is and we'll take care of it.
I love that by working together, we continue to keep downtown the heart of Bend!
