[OMS_MANAGERS] Small Business Networking & Training

Hey friends,

 

Do any of you have really successful networking and training opportunities
for your downtown businesses? What has worked? What has not worked?

 

We find that our downtown businesses do not know each other, and they would
like to be better connected. We are wanting to create the environment for
these people to get together and have an informal social time, followed by a
brief and very focused training opportunity. Our Chamber of Commerce is
doing something similar, but it won't be hosted downtown, and the more I
think about it, the more I feel it is important to have in our downtown
community. Training opportunities could include topics like: taking quality
Instagram pictures, an intro to organizing Quickbooks, or how to create a
social media plan.

 

I would love to schedule a phone or Skype call with those of you who have
been through this before to talk about these things in more detail.
