Dear Colleagues,

Thank you again for your efforts to save the Historic Tax Credit! Your work was invaluable in communicating the value of Historic Tax Credits, activating leaders and, ultimately, moving the needle to retain the HTC.

With the momentum we built as a network during the HTC campaign, I want to let you know of a new initiative spearheaded by our partners at Smart Growth America<https://mainstreet.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=881199cb2d0b2894c01ba06c1&id=5fa373443b&e=1ecbf825ba>, called First & Main. Produced with input from dozens of local elected leaders from across the country, the First & Main Blueprint<https://mainstreet.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=881199cb2d0b2894c01ba06c1&id=09cd2ce302&e=1ecbf825ba> is designed to protect federal programs that work for local communities, improve programs that must become more effective, and create new programs to provide local communities with additional resources.

The Blueprint aims to build a nonpartisan coalition of local elected officials — from small and medium-sized American towns, counties and cities across the country. The coalition will work to extend prosperity to members’ towns and cities — and the people within them.

I hope you’ll join us for a webinar on Thursday, March 1st at 3 p.m. ET to learn about the First & Main Blueprint. I encourage you to invite a local elected official to attend with you to learn more about the campaign.
