Hi Sheri & Katie,

A national company, Laidlaw, is often the contracted service provider for school districts, even in rural areas. They will hire out a driver with a school bus or other types of vehicles in their fleet. Be sure to ask how much space there is between the seats - the larger buses can have minimal leg room which is tough on adults.

We are starting to plan our mobile "Best Practices" workshop for fall. This will be a bus tour of 4 to 5 communities with a chance to get off the bus and hear from local programs on their downtown revitalization activities, successes, and challenges, and to have a walking tour of the towns we visit. Does anyone have experience with any charter bus services that you would recommend?
