Just a reminder to register for the Oregon Main Street workshop, “Connecting With and Supporting Main Street Entrepreneurs,” on June 8, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Roseburg. The focus of the workshop is on ways your local program can connect with and support entrepreneur development in your community. In the workshop you will learn about connecting with or developing an entrepreneur ecosystem, services and support entrepreneurs need, as well as the free entrepreneur program, "1 Million Cups" offered through the Kauffman Foundation. Featured speakers are:

  *   Jamie Johnk, Economic Development Manager, City of Woodburn
  *   Debbie Caterson, Director, Umpqua Community College’s Small Business Development Center
  *   Linda Haglund, Executive Director, Wenatchee Downtown Association

Workshop Location: The training will be at the Umpqua Business Center, 522 SE Washington Avenue, in downtown Roseburg. Limited parking is available on-site. There is additional parking at the parking garage on the corner of Washington and Rose. Downtown parking zone is free.
Hotel Info: There is a room block at the Holiday Inn Express, 375 W Harvard, Roseburg, OR 97470. Rooms are $139+tax per room. Call the front desk, 541-673-7517, and ask for the Oregon Main Street Program room rate. Reserve by May 30, 2018 to ensure you get this rate.
