The DBBA offers Marketing Partnerships to businesses just outside of our Economic Improvement District (EID). These partnerships allow businesses close to Downtown to leverage the DBBA's website and social media, as well as participate in Downtown Events. We'd like to welcome Silver Moon Brewing, our newest marketing partner! If you're interested in a Marketing Partnership, please contact us. (mailto:downtownbend at gmail.com?subject=Marketing%20Partnership)
Not Cho' Grandma's Bingo
Not Cho' Grandma's Bingo at Silver Moon Brewing (https://www.silvermoonbrewing.com/) has turned into the destination spot for your Sunday morning fun! The best part about this event is that it directly benefits our non-profit partner Deschutes County Search and Rescue (https://sheriff.deschutes.org/divisions/special-services/search-and-rescue/) . To date, they have raised just over $10,000 to benefit the organization (in just over 4 months!). They recently started a 'mystery box' component of the event which is where they are asking for your help! Every week they feature products and gift cards from local businesses in the mystery box. Winners from each round have the option to donate part of their winnings back to receive the mystery box prize. All of the money collected goes straight back to Deschutes County Search and Rescue. They are still in the process of looking for donations from local businesses who wish to support a great cause! If you or your business is interested in donating
merchandise or a gift card please reach out to Finn at Finn at silvermoonbrewing.com (mailto:Finn at silvermoonbrewing.com) . In exchange, Silver Moon will make sure to announce you as the main sponsor of the week and promote your brand! On behalf of DCSR, thank you for your consideration!

The DBBA – October News

October was beautiful in Downtown Bend! We saw lots of leaves falling from the trees and our staff worked closely with the City of Bend to get the leaves from the sidewalks into the roads, and from the roads, swept up with the street sweeper. Thanks, City of Bend, for working together with us to keep Downtown Bend clean and beautiful!

As many of you might know, there has been a lot of talk about ODOT's upcoming project to redo Hwy 97. One of the options they are considering is closing the Hawthorne and Lafayette connections. We've been advocating to keep these exits open into/out of Downtown. If you are interested in this topic, you are welcome to attend our next board meeting on 11/14. ODOT Principal Planner, will be there from 9am- 9:45am. Board meetings are held in our office at 916 NW Wall Street.

Come have a drink with the Downtown Bend Business Association! Last month we had "Coffee With Us" and this month we're doing, "Have a Beer With Us". Mindy Aisling, Executive Director, and Michaela Beechem, Public Relations, will be having a beer with YOU this month! They'll be working at ** Bend Brewing Company (https://www.bendbrewingco.com/)
and Downtowners are welcome to sit down, have a drink, and voice concerns or ideas to the DBBA. Feel free to stop by, chat, and have a beer with the DBBA!
