Hi All,

I just wanted to take a moment to highlight the Oregon Main Street Pre-Conference Workshop: Main Street Bootcamp on Oct. 2, 10am-1pm. We are pretty excited to have Kathy LaPlante from the National Main Street Center and Breanne Durham, State Coordinator for Washington State Main Street, come out and give folks an overview of the Four Point Approach(tm) and how it's implemented in communities.

This would be a perfect workshop for those that want to step up their downtown revitalization efforts such as the Exploring Downtown tier and the Associate level of the Oregon Main Street Track, new board members that need an understanding of the structure of Main Street efforts or seasoned board members that would like a refresher, and awesome volunteers that you are grooming to be awesome future board members.

As a comprehensive economic development tool, the Main Street Four-Point Approach is the foundation for local communities to revitalize their historic downtowns and commercial districts by leveraging their local assets - from cultural and architectural heritage to local entrepreneurs and community pride. The four points of Main Street work together to build a sustainable and complete community revitalization effort. Spend the morning with a national expert and gain in-depth understanding of the program. You will leave energized and ready to revitalize YOUR Main Street!
