Please see below for the latest communications around the CARES Act.
The CARES Act, which is the largest economic relief package in the US's history, was recently passed and provides multiple resources for economic support the tourism industry. US Travel has compiled guidance<https://www.ustravel.org/toolkit/covid-19-cares-act-relief-resources> on what the different parts of the CARES Act means for you and your business. They also provide clear guidance on eligibility<https://www.ustravel.org/sites/default/files/media_root/document/CARE-Act-Eligibility.pdf> around available resources.
Many of these resources are time sensitive so please be sure to redistribute this content to your partners, read through the materials, and if applicable apply to the programs your business needs as soon as possible. For example, the Payroll Protection Loan application opens April 3, 2020 and the SBA advises that all businesses should "apply as quickly as you can because there is a funding cap".
