When a building is sold, the buyer takes over the EID.
No.
The City of Corvallis collects the EID for the DCA. When questions arise, I contact the City of Corvallis finance department and the City Attorney.

Forwarding on behalf of Lise Grato w/the Albany Downtown Association

If you have an EID or were involved with an EID I need your help.

Historically when a building sells in Downtown Albany the EID obligation follows the building and the new owner is billed and obligated to pay. They cannot opt-out during the cycle.

    * What is the EID policy for ownership change in your Main Street?

    * Have you found that the interpretation of the ORS covering EIDs has changed over time?

    * If you’ve run into questions on your EID, have you reached out to an external source for assistance and who did you go to?

Thank you,

Lise Grato
