As Sheri says, it is usually specified in your By-Laws. In our case, it is the Board as we do not specify members, that is our whole community are considered to be treated as members.

Generally, we keep our by-laws quite general and simple to allow us maximum flexibility and adaptability. Besides amending by-laws require some cost and filing requirements with the State of Oregon. We get much more specific with our policies and procedures which we can amend easily and not have to jump through those hoops.

Subject: [OMS_MANAGERS] Voting ByLaws

My board has asked that I reach out to you all and ask,

"Please ask the other ED's that you are in contact with who votes to approve bylaw changes for their respective associations; the general membership or the Board of Directors?

Is there anyone that can answer this for us? Thank you in advance..
