For Pacific Power, there was a specific department that had to come out to assess the safety of banners on their poles then gave us the ok.

Our Main Street is a highway so some of the telephone poles are owned by ODOT and others are owned by our local electric cooperative.  For those of you who have pole banners, how did you go about securing the ability to put them up with those who own the poles?  Or did you install your own?
