Hey OMS directors,

What: Video Call with Main Street Directors

When: Tuesday, 3/17, 7:30am-8:30am
Why: This is a complex situation that I've never seen before. I want to learn from what you all may be doing to support your downtowns.
Note: All perspectives are valued. Everyone will have a chance to share.

I'm really curious as to what is going on in your downtowns with regard to COVID-19. Things are changing quickly, and I'd like to pull as many of us together as are available to talk about potential creative responses for our Main Street programs.

In Beaverton, my only thoughts so far are:

  *   Host a video call with downtown businesses and local leaders so that the businesses can share what is happening and us leaders can find out if there are resources available to ease the pain.
  *   Extend our downtown passport to finish at the end of April instead of the end of March.
  *   Postpone events that would be occurring in the next 6-8 weeks.

I'm looking forward to the conversation.
