The City of Forest Grove, population 25,000 is seriously considering a local grant fund using Urban Renewal Funds. We expect to make a decision if this is feasible by the end of the week.
Btw you all are doing great work. We hope to have a robust Main Street program in time.

Subject: [OMS_MANAGERS] Municipal Financial Assistance

Hi everyone,

With a number of cities now providing financial grants to small businesses (Beaverton, Hillsboro for example), our city has indicated that they are unable to do so because we don't meet a population threshold of 50,000.

I have asked for clarification on this point, but would like to know if any of your cities with populations less than 50,000 are taking financial steps to assist your members.

Thank you in advance.
