AJ is not wrong – we have had an explosion of Pickleball courts in KFalls, including a brand new complex at Steen Sports Park. There is a very active group that keeps them full all the time - you have no idea how many of these people are in your community! 😊

Sheri,
I believe that Pickleball and Pickleball court (expansions) should be a topic of discussion, as it is a very social sport that attracts an older crowd, and is regularly played by people in their 70's and 80's.
I'm a bit of an expert on the subject and would love to contribute if there was an opportunity.

THE FUTURE WE WANT: BUILDING COMMUNITIES FOR ALL AGES
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of Americans age 65 or older is projected to grow by almost 50 percent from 2016 to 2030. An average American child who is 10 years old today has a 50% chance of living to 100 or beyond. Many Oregon communities are at the front edge of this demographic shift. How can our communities prepare for the future?
Join us to hear from local and national leaders who are involved in age-friendly efforts. Learn about strategies for making communities more livable for people of all ages, abilities, races and incomes and how to get involved.
