This is what the City of Reedsport has in place. 

 

City of Reedsport Social Media User Guide

The City of Reedsport’s social media sites are open forums, but they are family-friendly, so please keep your comments clean. In addition to this, we ask that you follow our posting policy below. If you don't comply, your message will be removed.

*	Comments not topically related to the particular post being commented upon;
*	Comments in support of or opposition to political campaigns or ballot measures;
*	Content that promotes, fosters or perpetuates discrimination upon the basis on race, religion, gender, gender identity, marital status, familial status, national origin, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, source of income, or other protected status under applicable law;
*	Inappropriate sexual content or links to inappropriate sexual content;
*	Solicitations of commerce, e.g., ads;
*	Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity;
*	Private and confidential information;
*	Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems;
*	Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party;
*	Personal attacks or vulgar, abusive, offensive, threatening or harassing language. This includes creative spellings of swear words using asterisks or spaces between words.
*	Comments, posts or links that are intentionally designed by the author to mislead the public.
