[OMS_MANAGERS] CARES Dollars for businesses

I am the chair of the Economic Development committee for the city of West
Linn(as well as a board member of our local main street).  With the CARES
Act extended, we are having an emergency meeting of the EDC to figure out
how we can best spend the money to directly assist local businesses.  Our
city was slow to act last year, telling us CARES dollars couldn't be spent
on anything for businesses, only for the city itself. After our main street
director worked hard to correct them on this, we want to figure out more
ways to use them. We initially bought tents and heaters for our restaurants.
Looking to help more than just the restaurants.  The city is more likely to
go forward with our recommendations if we have specific examples of what
other cities have done.  So I'm just looking for what other cities have done
to help convince our city that money can be used that way.
