Here is our example of what we did in Tigard with a fix it station too! We were able to fund these with a grant.

All of our bike racks are black. We have one that is in the shape of a bicycle. The rest around town are pretty standard.

Good morning,

I'm working with Kevin at the Beaverton Downtown Association and a group of volunteers who are interested in increasing the safety and visibility of biking downtown. Specifically, they are interested in painting existing bike racks in a coordinated color to show they are public use. The city seems interested, but has asked for examples of cities in Oregon that might have done this already!

I am wondering if your main street/city/downtown has had this kind of improvement done? I've seen lots of great examples of public utility boxes, but haven't been able to find anything about bike racks explicitly!

Many thanks in advance!
