Do it anyway... have limited reserved seating and roped off area that's
social distanced, write a press release, invite local newspaper and TV,
and pay to LIVESTREAM and have VIDEO it as a promo video to live on you can
have on your website, give to the local business, promote on social media
and youtube. We've been doing this for our live events since last June and
even in Dec and it is an amazing, positive small business and community
support thing.

This is then something you can then later use to show for getting grants
and other funding, and it helps promote the businesses showing you support
them, as well as is a really good way to promote and market downtown
Beaverton.

Depending on your budget you can hire a professional production company or
use local community college or HS students AV club type deal or get a
community volunteer because cameras, sound, video editing and live
streaming are cheap and easy these days.

If you have extra budget work with the restaurant to hire a band or singer
or performers. We had a new Hawaiian restaurant open and they hired Chinese
dragon dance and drumming troupe. Another new business hired a really
wonderful soul singer for their opening. - the businesses paid for that but
if I had the budget, I'd do it.

In fact, you just inspired me to do this welcome type thing for businesses
on our street! Thanks!

Let me know how it goes.
