Renatta,

Several years ago the City of Stayton purchased the base of a parklet -- a 10 X 20 sectional platform.  Our main st group constructed the furnishings.  The City public works crew puts the platform out each spring and takes it into storage each fall.  Revitalize Downtown Stayton manages it, purchases the flowers and stores the furnishings in the winter.

Has anyone implemented a parklet program with purchased parklets? The city has money to buy parklets and they want us to implement a program. I am definitely interested in hearing from anyone who is done some thing similar. Thank you!
