End of year newsletter LA GRANDE MAIN STREET DOWNTOWN About Us Support Our Mission Hello OMS, As the holiday season speeds by, we just want to take a moment to thank our partners for their continued support and highlight some our fun holiday events. La Grande is looking particularly festive this holiday season thanks to the generous businesses who sponsored the incredible wreaths and lights decorating the lamp posts lining Adams Avenue! Also, we would like to give a shout-out to the volunteers who helped put everything together. Bundle up and stroll down Adams Avenue to view La Grande's own Holiday Wonderland. HOLIDAY DOWNTOWN SCAVENGER HUNT   Our holiday scavengers have hunted down clues and turned in their entries. We at LGMSD would like to thank all of the participating merchants and professional offices for their enthusiastic contributions to the success of the Holiday Downtown Scavenger Hunt. We are counting and tallying all our entries for the drawing on December 30, 2022. Everyone had a wonderful time hunting and discovering all of the folks doing business in Downtown La Grande! Also, do not forget, La Grande rings in the New Year in a spectacular fashion! NINTH ANNUAL NEW YEAR'S EVE BLOCK PARTY AND BALL DROP Finish off 2022 and the holiday season with the Ninth Annual New Year’s Eve Block Party and Ball Drop, hosted by LGMSD. Please join us at Adams and Depot in Downtown La Grande from 10 PM to 1 AM. There will be something everyone in the family can enjoy with plenty of ways to help you beat the cold with warming barrels along with a few downtown businesses remaining open to serve food and drinks. There will be a beer garden hosted by HQ Venue, Peak Lifestyle will be open serving warm drinks at Kona's Corner, and we will have some games for everyone to enjoy provided by Blue Mountain Outfitters. Loveland Funeral Chapel will be offering safe rides home. This family-friendly party is the only event of its kind in Oregon, so don’t miss it! We’ll see you Downtown when the clock strikes midnight! Your pets are welcome on a leash--just please pick up after them.
