[OMS_MANAGERS] Bridge lighting

I may have an example of a local bridge that is lighted … I’ll see if I can find a picture! In the meantime, we’ve had pretty good contacting our ODOT regional representative for questions like this. They can get you in touch with the right people who can tell you requirements and recommendations for lighting this particular style of bridge, and likely already have a “preferred supplier” list to reference for lighting contractors. If this is on a state-maintained roadway (doesn’t look like it is), you’d have to have them involved anyway.

Hello,

 

We have fundraised and also have a small grant that is supposed to go towards lighting for Sheridan's iconic green bridge. The original idea was colored flood lights, but we also are looking at nice white lights to highlight the arch on both sides. The problem is that we need to get a few bids in, but haven't been able to find examples of this size of a bridge (small town bridge) with lighting. Do any of you have examples of this kind of lighting and also, do any of you have contractors/designers you could recommend? Thank you!
