1. 2022 Oregon Main Street Conference Schedule Updates: As announced previously, Mary Means will not be able to join us as our keynote speaker due to health reasons. However, we are excited to announce that Patrice Frey, former President and CEO of Main Street America(tm), will join us as one of our Opening Speakers. Patrice will share lessons and reflections based on her nine years leading Main Street America. We also have Jon Stover from Jon Stover & Associates (JS&A), an Economic Development Consulting firm specializing in place-based economic development. In this special presentation Jon will share the results of the recently completed Impact of Oregon's Main Streets<https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/OH/Documents/2022OMS_Impact_Report.pdf> analysis.
Patrice will also be leading an interactive session for one of our Crash Courses on a new initiative she is spearheading for the Main Street America, the Small Deal Initiative, to accelerate investment in small-scale real estate projects on Main Streets, and MSA needs your help shaping the future of this important national program! Join Patrice to learn more about this initiative and to share your experience with small-scale real estate development in your downtown or district. Come prepared to share your thoughts and advice about how MSA can create resources and tools to better support downtown development projects.

1. Congratulations to Lise Grato with the Albany Downtown Association. At ADA's recent awards ceremony, Lise was recognized with the Legends of Lockdown award given to individuals or organizations who have gone above and beyond during the Covid-19 pandemic to support downtown Albany businesses/community in lockdown. I know this award was so well deserved and just a reflection of how so many of the executive directors in our Network stepped up during an incredibility challenging time.
1. In case you missed it, we announced the release of the Impact of Oregon's Main Streets<https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/OH/Documents/2022OMS_Impact_Report.pdf> report today! Make sure you have on your calendar our Mornings on Main call next week, September 15, 9:30 a.m. Jon will host a special training on how you can leverage the report to communicate the value of main street.
