Somehow your message went to my Spam folder and I discovered it today. Amity is in the Exploring Main Street category and we have only been required to submit annual reports in the past. Has that changed?

Hello Main Street Managers,
I’m reaching out to let you know that the OMS team has returned from our expeditions in Boston, fresh with new ideas.
This email is to serve two purposes:
- To let you know that I’m experiencing challenges with the functionality of the new form that I had built for the OMS reporting for this quarter that was supposed to make things easier. Rather than have you all have to work through kinks and be more frustrated than before, I’m holding off launching this new format until I can make it a little more user friendly. That being said, the reporting system will remain status quo for this quarter but please do know that I am working diligently on making this an easier process for all of you.
- To serve as a reminder that our top tier communities (Accredited, Designated, and Affiliated levels) have a report due in 10 days, on April 10. Forgot what tier you are? Check out the OMS Tier List!

ARE YOU NEW?
For new communities or new executive directors filling this report out for the first time here are some tools & tricks to make your work a success:
Tips & Tricks:
- Complete the report in one sitting, as there is no ‘save and resume later’ button.
- Use this Quarterly Report Worksheet to capture your information throughout the quarter so it is easy to copy and paste into the online form.
- Divvy up the responsibility. Have your board or committee chairs take on the appropriate sections of this worksheet and report back to you so you don’t have to gather all the information on you own.
- Follow our guidance for best practices when submitting your report: Best Practices
- Don’t forget to click the ‘send me a copy of my responses’ checkbox to keep a record of your report submission.
- As always, you can find all links to reporting information and other supportive resources by going into theMain Street Manager’s portal (orange portal button on the website).
Important Reminders:
- This year we are starting to impose probationary status for any organizations that are more than 30 days late on reports. This probationary status will restrict your access to Oregon Main Street technical assistance until your organization is brought into compliance. Extenuating circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Program Coordinators.
Please don’t be late to the party and ensure your community’s voice is heard! If you’re struggling filling out these reports, please reach out to me in order to try and make things a little easier. Don’t forget that we use this data to help you and guide how we tailor our services. Thanks all, and have a wonderful weekend.
