We offer both small (<20K project) and large grants (>20K projects) there are specific parameters regarding what qualifies but things like sidewalk repair and replacing windows due to vandalism could fall into the small grant project as both would visually enhance the building and make it more pedestrian friendly. https://www.cityofestacada.org/bc-ura/page/downtown-grants

We offer tax abatement through a variety of processes. In our downtown district we have a Vertical Housing Development Zone. Hi all - does anyone have examples of the following:

  *   financial support your local government provides to business, e.g., funding for window replacement due to vandalism, sidewalk repair, waiving system development charges, etc.?
  *   an ordinance or other tool to require a vote or evaluation of proposed franchises within city limits.

I have inquiries from a couple communities looking for examples of each of those items.
