[OMS_MANAGERS] Looking for Board Application Packet & Process

Albany Downtown Association be bringing on some new board members in the next 2-3 months. I'd love to revamp our process and packet. I think ours is from 2015 or 2018.


  *   I'm looking for ideas to update our Board Application Packet.



  *   Are there any key points in your application or attachments that stand out? Or ones that you'd love to change?


  *   Do you have a rule that new board members are required to use email or do you provide accommodation for those who don't? We have one current board member who doesn't use a computer at all. We prepare hard copies and she comes to the office. We sometimes forget to include her in little things like canceled committee meetings or meeting location changes as she doesn't get the email. Hen she calls or misses it and I feel bad. Of course, we will continue to accommodate her.


  *   Currently, our applications go to our eBoard for a review then they bring them to the full Board for approval. What is your process?


  *   Do you have any questions or a process to help identify key positive attributes or possibly flag negative behavior or conflicting affiliations?



  *   What else?
