I sent you a response to an email received through the website, but I will also share a little here for the good of the group.

Albany went through an extensive process of developing wayfinding signs (years and years). I was hired in April 2017 and involved in the final year. Our Design Committee and the City worked closely on the project. The signs were finally installed in Aug 2018. I have attached an example of the pedestrian sign. There are other sizes for motorists in key locations.

One note: Two large signs were repurposed as the City's vision for the sign locations didn't ultimately meet ODOT placement approval.

The City of Monmouth is working on developing some wayfinding options for our downtown. Right now we are looking at what other cities have done and what seems to work best.
