Hi Jamie,
I have observed this same phenomenon here in Oakridge. It may be that
the business owner simply doesn't realize how that prime spot is viewed by
others. Maybe they are carrying an armload of items on the way in the
door, then get busy and forget to move the vehicle? I think it's worth
having a conversation with owners, employees, and managers to hear their
point of view.
In another part of Oakridge, along highway 58 I own property where we
operated a cafe and when business was slow, we would park our vehicles as a
'decoy car.' The thought being that if no one was there the place was
either closed or no one liked it. Looking forward to hearing from others...
