Celebrating Local Successes:
American Express Backing Small Businesses in Oregon |
Three Oregon businesses, two of which are in communities that are part of the Oregon Main Street Network, were one of the one hundred small business owners from across the country have been awarded $10,000 grants through the Disaster Recovery Grant round of the Backing Small Businesses grant program, supported by American Express. These businesses were selected for their ongoing efforts to rebuild after experiencing natural disasters since January 1, 2024.

Applications will open for the broader Backing Small Businesses grant round on Wednesday, July 16, offering 400 additional small businesses $10,000 grants to help them address critical needs and make a positive impact in their local communities. Of the 500 total recipients selected across both 2025 funding rounds, 25 will also receive $30,000 Enhancement Grants to support transformational projects that deepen local impact.
