OMS Conference Comments: It was wonderful to see everyone in Albany last week for the OMS Conference. A special thanks goes out to the Albany Downtown Association board and volunteers, as well as the Albany Visitors Association for the extra effort that went into ensuring attendees had a good experience. I want to particularly thank Trina Henderson and Kristi Crawford with ADA, and Rebecca Bond with AVA. There are so many highlights for me during our time together:

  * Seeing everyone connecting with old friends and making new ones.
  * Stellar sessions and speakers who give of their time to be present and share their knowledge.
  * Heartwarming messages from the recipients of the Excellence on Main awards.
  * Outstanding opening reception at the Albany Historic Carousel - how fun to see everyone enjoy this space and get a ride on their favorite animal! And, an amazing social mixer at Sybaris who closed for the night for our conference attendees. That Crème Brule? Stellar! And, a reprise of First Burger cult class burgers too! Not to mention all the other tasty nibbles.
  * Most of all - just the chance to be in the same space, feeling the energy, and seeing how joyful our community is in the work that we do.
