[OMS_MANAGERS] Governors Confrence on Tourism role call…

As promised at yesterday’s MOM zoom meeting, Here is the official roll call
for GovCon!

There are several events happening during Gov Con that are extra or are
evening activities… let me know if you plan on attending them or didn’t
know they were happening but want to sign up (I can send you links or poke
a TO friend to see if we can get a late sign up).

1.  Sunday- SOU Tourism Accessibility Certification class. I will be
attending this and there may be spaces still available. Cost- Free as it’s
paid for by a travel oregon grant.

2. Travel Oregon She Leads - a celebration of women in tourism on Monday. I
love this event. I was on their panel of speakers for the one held in
Eugene and it was great!  She Leads is “off campus” and I haven’t heard
about transportation being provided so we can carpool. $40 additional

3. Awards Banquet Monday Night- let me know if you will be there and we can
all try to sit together or near each other. Always good to divide and
conquer at networking events too! However it’s also fun for us to be
together as a network. Either way is fine! Maybe sit with us and bring a
friend outside the network. I always like to lure stewardship tourism
people to sit with us since our work is so aligned. (You don’t have to sign
up for this one in advance)

4. Oregon’s Night Out- Blazers vs Mavericks. I know of a bunch of us who
have chatted and signed up to go.  There might be some post game karaoke
happening after as well… there usually is. :)

When you respond, if you are comfortable sending me your cell phone, I can
put us all in a group chat. Or you can text me privately (541)913-6570.

I also emailed Ami, the new director this morning (I’m sure she’s on this
already anyway). I believe she is attending. Will be a great way for those
attending to meet her.
