Oregon Heritage is pleased to announce the hiring of Ami Keiffer, for the Local Preservation Partners Coordinator position!

Ami has been a long-time champion of small communities across the U.S. As a former Main Street, manager she has an appreciation for the realities many Main Street organizations and rural communities face. Her work has focused on providing community development technical assistance supporting local governments, volunteers and partners as they navigate complex systems and connect to resources in practical, people-centered ways. Ami has also worked extensively on building local capacity, with an eye toward the long-term health of organizations and the people invested in them. Her background in design and economic development has shaped how she approaches this work, balancing big-picture thinking with on the ground realities.

In this role, Ami will coordinate Oregon Main Street and the Certified Local Government programs in addition to other duties.

Sheri Stuart, will be retiring the end of February 2026. We will be announcing celebration plans soon! She will still be your main contact for Oregon Main Street through February. Ami will start mid-February, and enjoy some orientation time with Sheri. Cam Amabile will still be your contact for reporting and technical resources.
