Thank you sooo much for mentioning our escaped bridge troll campaign. We
had tons of fun putting it together, and the response has been
overwhelmingly positive. Over 10,000 views of the MSCL News Update series
on Facebook so far, and everyone here keeps asking members if there are
really trolls hidden around town (there are) and are we really giving out
prizes to people who find/turn them in (we are, but you have to buy a
bridge troll bounty hunting license first ... which you can buy from us at
the fundraiser for $20, of course). We're putting up wanted posters today.
The final news update will get posted on Sunday and the fundraiser itself
is next Wednesday.
I'll include copies/links to everything in my next quarterly report.
The best part of the whole thing is how this campaign has gotten so many of
our stakeholders really interested in, and excited about what MSCL is doing
for the community. We've had more people follow us on Facebook, and go to
our website over the last three weeks than we've had since we incorporated.
It's also really reinvigorated/motivated our board members to make time to
pitch in and help. A huge ... and, to be honest, completely unexpected
win-win for us.
