OMS Updates
Travel Oregon Destination Boot Camp | Free Registration!<https://cvent.me/oQOdev>
Our partners at Travel Oregon are prioritizing Main Street Manager attendance at this year's Destination Boot Camp. This is a multi-day convening designed to bring together Oregon's industry leaders focused on destination development, management, and stewardship. This invitation is intended for professionals across the tourism ecosystem, including DMO and RDMO staff, Oregon Tourism Studio leaders, Destination Ready and Recreation Ready awardees, economic development partners, Main Street managers, Food and Farm Trail leads, city and county leaders, stewardship organization leads, recreation staff, and land managers.

This year's Boot Camp will emphasize collaborative and interactive learning. Rather than traditional presentations or panels, sessions will focus on facilitated group discussions around key destination stewardship and management topics. Attendees are encouraged to actively participate as both teachers and learners, sharing insights and experiences with peers.

The program will take place on the following schedule:

  *   Wednesday, May 13 | 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM + evening event
  *   Thursday, May 14 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM + evening event
  *   Friday, May 15 | 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Learning Opportunities
R&D Resource Share | Colorado Main Street<https://dlg.colorado.gov/tools-for-communities>
While Oregon Main Street<https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/OH/Pages/OMSNetworkPortal.aspx> boasts a large number of resources, guides, studies, and more that are for you, we like to remind folks that a national network of resources exists. This week we're highlighting the technical resources available from Colorado Main Street Program. With resources categorized in the 4 Points of Main Street, you should be able to find some nuggets like this Board of Directors Overview<https://dlg.colorado.gov/main-street-boards> or Role of a Main Street Manager pag<https://dlg.colorado.gov/main-street-manager>e.
Reminder when borrowing resources from other regions: make it your own to represent your own story & put it in your local context (culturally, historically, temporally, etc.). Just in case you think we forgot, Oregon's not Colorado!

Cheers,
