[OMS_MANAGERS] Medford - EID PASSED!

*Good morning!*
I wanted to share some exciting news with you,
*the Economic Improvement District was approved last night by City Council!*
It passed unanimously (with one abstention due to a conflict, but that
councilor is fully supportive), and we were also awarded the contract.

Just as important—only *11% of property owners were opposed*, which is a
strong show of support after a two-year process.

A few highlights from the night:

   - Over 30 people stayed for nearly four hours since we were the last
   item on the agenda
   - Public comments in favor were thoughtful and strong
   - We received 24 letters of support, including 14% from within the
   district
   - City staff is genuinely excited and proud to be partnering with us
   - And a fun milestone: f*or the first time, City staff will attend the
   Main Street Conference with us.*

We’ll share the official press release soon, but I wanted you to hear it
directly. This is a big moment for downtown Medford, and we truly
appreciate your support along the way.
