<div>At this point, the Amity Downtown Improvement Group has held three focused activities per year.  In the spring (March/April) we have held a business lecture targeted at businesses and in the fall/winter (early December) is a holiday tree lighting which is targeted at the community.  Sandwiched in between, during the summer (August), is the fundraiser (Appetizers for Improvement).</div>

<div>The business lecture is the least time intensive, followed by the holiday event.  Of course, the most time and energy intensive event is the fundraiser...and it is held (stragegically for us and our energies) during the summer.  This spread of activities during the year seems like the right mix for us now as we are a very small group.  </div>
